● 컨셉 설명

 타일의 종류는 크게 2가지가 있습니다. 일반적으로 대중화 되어있는 세라믹 소재의 타일과 유리로 만들어진 타일이 있습니다. 세라믹타일은 겉 표면에 이미지를 구현하여 반사 / 무반사 효과로 마무리 가능하며 유리타일은 유리의 뒷면에 디자인을 구현하여 유리의 종류에 따라 여러가지 느낌으로 표현 할 수 있습니다. 세라믹 타일은 기성 규격에 맞춰서 제작되는 반면, 유리 타일은 기성품과 주문제작이 모두 가능하여 여러가지 측면에서 다양하게 적용이 가능하다는 장점이 있습니다. 

성남역에 설치된 타일피코는 무반사 유리로 적용되어 매트한 느낌과 도시 노을 작품이 절묘하게 어우러 집니다. 

"분주한 도심 속 노을이 주는 따스함, 고요함이 조화롭게 어우러진다. 잠시 발걸음을 멈추고 마주하면 희망의 빛이 우리를 반긴다."

타일피코 사이로 보이는 LED 조명이 지나가는 사람들을 반겨 줍니다.

● Concept Description:

There are two main types of tiles: ceramic tiles, which are commonly used and made from ceramic materials, and glass tiles, which are made of glass.

Ceramic tiles have their design printed on the surface and can be finished with either reflective or non-reflective effects. In contrast, glass tiles have their designs applied to the back side of the glass, allowing for a variety of visual expressions depending on the glass type.

While ceramic tiles are typically produced in standard sizes, glass tiles offer both standard and custom sizes, giving greater flexibility for various applications.

The Tilepico installed at Seongnam Station uses non-reflective glass, blending a matte texture with the artwork of a city sunset—a perfect harmony of mood and material.

Between the Tilepico panels, LED lights shine through, warmly welcoming passersby and enriching the atmosphere.
